00.01 Welcome to the spoken tutorial on Installation of Scilab on Windows operating system.
00.08 I will Install Scilab version 5.2 on windows operating system.
00.14 This procedure is applicable to all versions of Scilab and other versions of windows operating system.
00.20 You can download scilab from the scilab.org website.
00.25 Go to the Products select download and click , scroll down select scilab5.2 under the windows section .
00.41 This will open a dialog to download the exe file.
00.45 Click on save filethe downloading will start.
00.51 It will take few minutes. I will minimize this.
00.55 I will minimize the browser.
00.59 The direct link to download page is as shown.
01.04 Before starting the installation process please make sure that your computer is connected to internet.
01.11 It is required to download and install Intel Math Kernal Library .
01.17 I will minimize this.
01.19 Double click on thescilabsetup file to start the installation procedure.
01.25 Click Run
01.28 Select set up language as English.click Ok
01.34 This will start the Scilab setup wizard.
01.37 Click Next to continue.
01.39 Accept the license agreement click Next.
01.43 Select a destination folder to install scilab on your computer.
01.47 Click Next.
01.49 Go for full Installation.
