01:31 | Let us first learn about OpenStreetMap. |

01:40 | It gives information about roads, boundaries and transport links. |

03:32 | To find a route map between two places, click on the Routing panel. |
03:37 | In the Routing panel, we see two input bars with green coloured A and B icons. |
03:45 | Click on the down arrow button next to A. |
03:49 | A drop-down menu opens with different options.
Select From Map option. |
03:57 | In the input bars, we will enter the source and destination of the route. |
04:03 | I will demonstrate how to find a route map from Mumbai to Pune. |
04:09 | As Mumbai is our starting point, let us type Mumbai in the first input bar. |
04:16 | Click on the Search button or press Enter key on the keyboard. |
04:21 | Let us wait till Mumbai is located on the map. |
04:26 | A message, placemarks found: 1 appears next to the Search button. |
04:33 | On the map, location of Mumbai is marked as A. |

04:43 | Go to the second input bar and click on the down arrow button next to B. |

04:54 | I will type Pune in the second input bar. |
04:59 | Click on the Search button or press Enter key on the keyboard. |
05:04 | Again we will wait till Pune is located on the map. |
05:10 | This location is shown using B icon on the map. |
05:15 | Notice that Search button is now replaced by a Get Directions button. |

05:36 | Let us zoom in to get a clear view of the route. |
05:44 | Distance between these two places is shown at the bottom of the Routing panel. |
05:50 | Below the input bars we see a Car (fastest) drop down button. |
05:56 | This drop-down button has four route profiles. |

06:09 | By default, Car(fastest) route profile is selected. |
06:14 | The route profile depends on the type of vehicle we choose. |
06:19 | On the map we see a route map from Mumbai to Pune with Car(fastest) route profile. |
06:27 | Let us find the same route map with Bicycle route profile. |
06:32 | Click on the Car(fastest) drop-down button and select Bicycle. |
06:37 | The Car fastest route profile from Mumbai to Pune is deleted. |
06:43 | Click on the Get directions button. |
06:46 | Please wait if buffering sign is seen. |
06:51 | A message No route found is seen on the Routing panel. |
06:55 | Click on the Settings icon in the Routing panel. |
06:58 | Configure Routing Profile - Marble Virtual Globe dialog box opens. |
07:05 | Under the Active Route Services Service Settings, uncheck all the checkboxes. |
07:12 | Then click on Yours checkbox. |
07:16 | Click on the OK button in the box. |
07:19 | Now click on the Get Directions button. |
07:23 | A new route map appears on the map with Bicycle route profile. |
07:29 | Now we will see how to remove this route map.
Right-click on the ending point B. |

07:39 | From the context menu select Remove this destination option. |
07:45 | Route map between Mumbai and Pune is deleted. |
07:50 | To remove the starting point A, right-click on A. |
07:55 | Select Remove this destination option. |
07:59 | Now I will show how to find local routes on the map. |
08:04 | For demonstration, we will find a route map from Kalyan to Panvel. |
08:10 | Let us locate our starting point Kalyan. |
08:14 | Right-click on its label. |
08:17 | A context menu appears. |
08:20 | Select Directions from here option. |

08:28 | Let us locate our destination, Panvel. Right-click on its label. |

09:14 | In the File name field type the name as Route hyphen 1 dot gpx. |
