01:14 | In the centre, we see the Workspace, which is our working area. |
01:20 | We can customize the view of the Workspace based on our preferences. |

01:36 | At the top, the Workspace has 4 tabs called ‘View buttons’. |

05:44 | Click on the textbox ‘Click to add title’ and type “Short Term Strategy” inside it. |
05:52 | Likewise, set the title for the 4th slide as “Long Term Goal”. |
05:59 | Now, let us learn how to copy a slide. |
06:03 | There are two ways in which we can make a copy of a slide. |
06:08 | Let’s look at the first way. |
06:11 | Select slide 3 in the Slides Pane, by clicking on it. |
06:16 | Click on the Duplicate Slide icon in the Standard Toolbar. |
06:21 | A new duplicate slide gets inserted after slide 3. |
06:26 | Alternatively, click on the Slide menu in the menu bar
And then on the Duplicate Slide option. |
06:35 | Once again, we see that a new duplicate slide has been inserted. |
06:41 | Now, let’s learn about fonts and how to format fonts. |
06:46 | Click on the slide titled ‘Overview’ in the Slides Pane. |
06:52 | Click on the Body textbox and select the second line of text. |
06:58 | Go to the Sidebar and click on the Properties icon. |
07:03 | In the ‘Character’ property, change the Font name to “Carlito”. |
07:09 | Then change the Font size from “26” to “32”. |
07:15 | Notice that the font has changed as per our selection. |
07:20 | Next, let’s change the color of the font. |
07:24 | Click on the Body textbox and select all the text by pressing Ctrl+A keys. |
07:32 | In the Character property, go to the Font Color icon. |
07:37 | Then click on the drop-down arrow next to it and select any color that you like. |
07:44 | I’m selecting Teal color. |
07:48 | Notice the change in color in the text. |
07:52 | Now, click on the Title textbox and select the entire text. |
07:58 | Go to the Character property again.
The text is already in bold. |
08:04 | Now, let’s click on the icons for Italics and Underline. |
08:11 | Notice the change in the text. |
08:15 | Finally, we will learn to delete a slide from the presentation.
There are 2 ways to do this. |
08:23 | First way is to select a slide, say slide 5 in the Slide Pane. |
08:30 | Then click on the Delete Slide icon in the Standard toolbar. |
08:35 | Second way is to select a slide, say slide 4 in the Slide Pane. |
08:42 | Click on the Delete key on the keyboard to delete this slide. |
08:48 | Let us save all the changes we made in our presentation by clicking on the Save icon.
And then close the file. |
