Narration only	Please remember in an earlier tutorial we had Configured a Patron Discharge Certificate. Now, we will learn to issue a Patron Discharge Certificate to the patron.
Login with Superlibrarian account Username - Bella Password - Library@1 Library: Spoken Tutorial Library Click on Login	I have already logged in as a Superlibrarian.
In the Check out bar >> type Krishna press Enter	On the Koha staff interface locate the Check out search bar. Enter the patron card number or a partial name. I will enter the patron’s name as Krishna and press Enter.
Cursor on Checkout	A Checkouts page with the details of Mister Krishna Gautam opens.

Narration only Cursor on More>>Discharges Under the patron details click on Discharges	To give discharge from the top menu bar click on More. And from the dropdown select Discharge.
Cursor on Discharge Click on Generate discharge Click on the download icon	The Discharge page opens with the option to Generate discharge. Click on the Generate discharge button. The certificate will be downloaded in pdf format. To view the discharge certificate click on the download icon and select the file. The Print notices certificate will open in a new tab. We have now successfully issued the discharge certificate.
Narration only Library No Dues/Clearance Certificate Put highlight boxes while editing.	Please note, once you generate a discharge certificate. It means that the patron has returned all the items. Patron now is no longer an active borrower as his/her account is closed.
From the left side panel under the patron details>> click on Details Cursor on Attention>> text highlighted in red says- Restricted since 07/30/2025: Patron's account is restricted. Click on the view restrictions button Cursor on table details	Now close this Print notices certificate tab. This will bring us back to the Discharge page. Go to the left side menu. Under the patron details click on Details. A page with details of Mister Krishna Gautam opens. Here under the Attention the text highlighted in red says- Restricted since 07/30/2025: Patron's account is restricted. To view the restrictions click on the view restrictions button. This will display a table at the bottom of the page with Restrictions details. To remove restrictions you may click on the Remove button. For now we will leave it as it is.
