A lifesaving system of care for Heart Attack patients for low and middle income groups, conceptualised by Dr. Thomas Alexander and his team at Kovai Medical Centre and Hospital, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. STEMI INDIA has developed a proven, affordable and effective system to manage heart attacks in India.

With a large part of India's population living in rural areas, creating access to quality healthcare is important. This system of care will target the vulnerable and poorly served, low and middle income population. STEMI INDIA programme guides the delivery of the STEMI system of care from patient entry to discharge.
