A web page opens with all the details to buy the device.

Installation Ubuntu Linux OS

To begin with let's install on Ubuntu Linux OS.
Show Ubuntu Software Center. We can install ExpEYES the Software directly from Ubuntu Software Center.
Point to the address bar.

Type http://expeyes.in

Alternatively open Firefox web browser.

In the address bar, type: http://expeyes.in

Point to SOFTWARE tab.

Point to Software Installation page.

On the page click SOFTWARE tab.

Software Installation page opens.

Click on link expeyes.deb

Point to Save File dialogue box

Select Save File click on OK.

Click on the link expeyes.deb.

Save File dialogue box opens.

Select Save File and click on OK.

Click on the downloaded file. Click on the downloaded file.
Cursor in Ubuntu Software Centre.

Click on Install button.

File opens in Ubuntu Software Centre.

Click on Install button.

Point to Authenticate dialogue box.

Type the sytem password

Click on Authenticate button.

Authenticate dialogue box appears.

Type the system password and click on Authenticate button.

Installation takes a few minutes.

Netbook.

Let's install the Software on Netbook.
Point to Lubuntu software Center. ExpEYES software can be installed on Netbook using Lubuntu Software Center.
Right click on Software Center icon.

Select Open.

Point to Lubuntu Software center.

Right click on Software Center icon.

Select Open.

Lubuntu Software center window opens.

In Search a package box, type expeyes

Expeyes icon appears, Select the icon.

In Search a package box, type expeyes.

Expeyes icon appears. Select the icon.

Point to the Status bar.

Click on the Add to the Apps Basket button.

On the Status bar, click on Add to the Apps Basket button.
Point to Menu bar, click on Apps Basket button.

Point to Apps Basket.

On the Menu bar, click on Apps Basket button.

Apps Basket window opens.

Point to Package list, select Expeyes.

Click on Install Packages button.

From the Package list, select Expeyes.

Click on Install Packages button.

Point to Authenticate dialogue box.

Type system password. Click on Authenticate button.

Authenticate dialogue box appears.

Type the system password and click on Authenticate button.

Point to Installing packages dialogue box. Installing packages dialogue box appears.

Installation takes a few minutes.

Show the connection of Netbook to the device using USB cable. Connect the Netbook to the device using USB cable.
Click on Start button.

Navigate to Education.

To open the Software interface in Netbook, click on Start button.

Navigate to Education.

Select ExpEYES Junior.

Point to Software interface.

Select ExpEYES Junior.

Software interface opens.

Andriod.

Let's install the Software on Andriod.

Installation on Android

Please ensure that wifi or Data pack is available on your Andriod device.
Show the connection of Android to the device using OTG cable. ExpEYES Junior device can be connected through OTG cable to your mobile.
Click on the Home button on your mobile.

Point to Google Play Store in the Android.

Click on Home button on your mobile.

Navigate to Google Play Store.

Click on APPS.

Point to APPS.

Click on APPS.

APPS page opens.

Click on magnifying glass on the top right corner. Click on magnifying glass on the top right corner.
Type expeyes, click on the ExpEYES.

Click on INSTALL.

Type expeyes, click on ExpEYES. <pause>

Click on INSTALL.

Point to Accept. Accept the license agreement.

Downloading starts.

click on OPEN. After downloading, click on OPEN.
Point to ExpEYES Experiments dialogue box. ExpEYES Experiments dialogue box opens.
Click on the checkbox, Use by default for this USB device. Click on the checkbox, Use by default for this USB device.
Click on OK.

Point to ExpEYES interface.

Click on OK.

Interface opens.

Installation

Windows OS

Let us install the Software on Windows Operating System.
Point to the address bar, type the url expeyes.in

press Enter.

Open your default web browser.

In the address bar, type the URL expeyes.in and press Enter.

ExpEYES page opens.

Click on SOFTWARE tab, Scroll down to MS Windows. Click on SOFTWARE tab.

Scroll down to MS Windows.

Point to Window Desktop. For Windows installation, we need to install Python interpreter and required libraries.
Point to all the libraries.

Show all related drivers

Download and install the following drivers and files:

expeyes.zip.

Point to the files in Downloads library. I have already downloaded all the files in my Downloads library.
Right click on expeyes-3.0.0 zip file.

Click on Extract Here option.

Point to the extracted file.

Right click on expeyes-3.0.0 zip file and click on Extract Here option.

The file is extracted.

Double click on expeyes-3.0.0 folder. Double click on expeyes-3.0.0 folder.
Double click on expeyes-junior folder.

Point to the list.

Double click on eyes-junior folder.

A list of files open.

Navigate to croplus file.

Right click, select Properties.

Point to croplus Properties window.

Navigate to croplus file.

Right click and select Properties.

croplus Properties window opens.

Click on Change button, Select Python, click OK. Click on Change button.

Select Python, then click OK.

Click OK in the Properties window.

Double click croplus file.

Click OK in the Properties window.

Double click on croplus file.

Point to the Python exe file

Point to ExpEYES junior interface.

You can see that Python exe file is running.

Software interface opens.

Point to ExpEYES junior interface. Please note, while installing the Software on Windows 8/8.1, enable unsigned driver installation in settings.
Show connection to the system.

Point to the interface.

We can connect the device to the system through USB port.

Once connected the software interface opens.

Now, I will show a basic experiment using the device and interface.
Show the connections and interface. To show the experiment, we require a battery as external source of voltage.

Voltage of the battery is “3V”.

For this experiment, Ground terminal and A1 terminal are connected to the battery.

Click on A1 to show the voltage across the A1 terminal.

Point to the voltage

On the interface, click on A1 to show the voltage across A1 terminal.

The displayed voltage is “+3.15V”.

On reversing the connection, the voltage is “-3.14V”

Point to the displayed values. In the place of the battery we can use PVS as internal source of voltage.

For this experiment, A1 is connected to PVS.

On the right side of the interface, Set PVS = 3V and press enter.

The displayed voltage of PVS is “3.001V”.

Click on A1 to show the voltage across the A1 terminal. On the top left corner click on A1.

The displayed voltage of A1 is “3.008V”.
