00:01 Welcome to the spoken tutorial on Installation of Scilab on Windows operating system.
00:07 I will install Scilab version 5.2 on windows operating system.
00:13 This procedure is applicable to all versions of Scilab and other versions of windows operating system.
00:20 You can download scilab from the scilab.org website.
00:25 Go to the Products, select Download and click.
00:31 Scroll down, click on scilab 5.2 under the Windows section .
00:41 This will open a dialog to download the exe file.
00:45 Click on Save File, the downloading will start.
00:50 It will take few minutes. I will minimize this.
00:54 Minimize the browser.
00:58 The direct link to download page is as shown.
01:03 Before starting the installation process please make sure that your computer is connected to the internet.
01:10 It is required to download and install Intel Math Kernal Library .
01:16 I will minimize this.
01:18 Double click on the scilab Setup file to start the installation procedure.
01:25 Click Run.
01:28 Select set up language as English, click OK.
01:33 This will start the Scilab Setup Wizard.
01:37 Click Next to continue.
01:39 Accept the license agreement, click Next.
01:42 Select a destination folder to install scilab on your computer.
01:47 Click Next. Go for Full Installation.
01:50 Click Next.
01:52 Next. Next.
01:55 Click Install to start the installation.
01:58 Click OK to give the internet connection permission.
02:03 This will start downloading of Intel Math Kernal Library for Scilab.
02:11 This will take few minutes.
02:20 Downloading of Intel Math Kernal Library has completed and the installation procedure for scilab has started.
02:28 This will take few minutes.
02:46 Installation of scilab has completed. Click "Finish".
02:51 This will Launch Scilab 5.2 on your computer.
