Show Koha login interface | Let us switch to the Koha interface. |

Login to Koha with Username as Vaibhavi and Password as Vaibhavi02. | So, I will type the username as Vaibhavi and the password as Vaibhavi02.
If you had given a different username and password, then type that. To choose the Library from the drop down select Spoken Tutorial Library. Click on Login |
Show Koha staff Interface | The Koha staff interface opens. |

Also recall that we had added a Book item type during Onboarding. | |

Show Koha interface >> Cataloging module | For that click on the Cataloging module. |
Cataloging page | A Cataloging page opens. |
Click on the tab +New record | To start a new record, click on New record. |
From the dropdown menu select Books | From the dropdown , we will select Books.
The selection depends upon the ITEM type created in one of the earlier tutorials. |

A new page >>Add MARC record opens up | A new page with the title Add MARC record opens. |
Point to the fields marked in red. | Notice that all the fields marked in red are mandatory. |
Click on fields marked with red colored asterisk | Interestingly, Koha auto-generates values for a few mandatory fields. |
Cursor on tabs 0 to 9, | Among the range of tabs from 0 to 9, we will start with tab zero. |
Click inside the field for 000, Leader.
