00:23	Ubuntu Linux OS version 14.04,
00:27	FrontAccounting version 2.3.24.
00:31	To follow this tutorial, you should have knowledge of

00:39	First, let us learn about FrontAccounting.
00:43	FrontAccounting is a web based accounting software for small to medium sized enterprises.
00:50	It is an open source software.
00:53	Here are some of the key features of FrontAccounting.
00:58	It works on Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems.
01:03	It automates accounting tasks and thereby reduces chances of error.
01:10	FrontAccounting gives a professional output.
01:14	It contains a number of ready to use report templates.
01:19	It helps to manage all aspects of business. i.e from job costing to inventory management to financial statements.
01:29	FrontAccounting can be used by Accountants, Finance professionals, commerce teachers and students.
01:39	Now, we will briefly go through the individual tutorials in this series.
01:44	The first tutorial in this series explains-
01:48	installation of FrontAccounting in Ubuntu Linux operating system,
01:53	the pre-requisites for installation such as Apache, PHP5 and MySQL server,
02:00	and, how to create a database for FrontAccounting.

02:09	Open any web browser and go to this URL: https://sourceforge.net/projects/frontaccounting/
02:13	Click on the Download button.
02:16	Immediately, the download begins.
02:19	Save the tar.gz file that is displayed on the screen.
02:25	The next tutorial is Installation of FrontAccounting on Window operating system.
02:32	This tutorial explains how to download FrontAccounting software,
02:37	create a database for FrontAccounting and
02:40	install FrontAccounting software in Windows operating system.
02:45	Let us have a look at this tutorial.
02:49	Let's begin.
02:51	To run FrontAccounting, we require a web server, php and a database on our machine.
02:57	We will use Apache as our web server and MySQL as our database.
03:04	By installing XAMPP package, all of these will get installed together.
03:10	The next tutorial is Setup FrontAccounting'.
03:14	Here we will learn:
03:16	FrontAccounting interface, various modules in the Setup tab, create our own organization or company, setup user accounts, setup access permissions and setup display.
03:33	Here is a glimpse of the tutorial.
03:37	Let us start with the Setup tab in FrontAccounting.
03:41	The setup tab is used for Company setting.
03:45	Parameters, default values and preferences are entered in this option.
03:52	Click on the Setup tab.
03:55	The next tutorial is Banking and General Ledger in FrontAccounting.
04:00	This will help us to know how to create: General Ledger Classes, General Ledger Groups, General Ledger Accounts.
04:10	Also, we will learn to: Pass a Journal Entry, see the reflection in Balance Sheet and void a transaction.

05:18	Now, let us see the meaning of Inventory.

05:29	The next tutorial is about Sales in FrontAccounting.

05:36	Sales Types, Sales Persons, Sales Areas, Add and manage customers and Branches.

05:48	Sales Quotation Entry, Sales Order Entry, Make Delivery, Sales Order Inquiry.
