Open a Firefox browser.	Let us open a Firefox browser.
In the URL bar >> type ‘www.popuptest.com’ >> Press the Enter key.	In the URL bar, let us type ‘w w w dot pop up test dot com’ Press the Enter key.
	This site shows you what a pop-up is.
Click on the link Multi-popup test.	Click on the link that says Multi-popup test.
Point to the 6 pop-ups.	You will see 6 pop-ups.
Click on Back.	Click on Back.
Point to the 2 pop-ups.	2 more pop-ups appear. See how irritating they are?
Click on Edit >> Preferences.	Firefox allows you to control both pop-ups and pop-unders. This is done by clicking on Edit and then Preferences. Windows users, please click on Tools and then on Options.
In the Preferences window >> click on Content tab.	In the Preferences window, click on the Content tab.
Point to the Block pop-up windows option and the check-box.	The Block pop-up windows option is already turned on, by default. If not, then you need to check it. So you don't have to worry about enabling it to prevent pop-ups from appearing in Firefox.
In the Preferences window >> click on Close button.	Now you can close the Firefox Preference window by clicking on the Close button.
	You can also choose exceptions. Exceptions are sites whose pop-ups are acceptable to you.
Click on Edit >> Preferences.	Click on Edit and then Preferences. Windows users, please click on Tools and then on Options.
Click on the Exceptions button next to the field Block pop-up windows.	In order to add exceptions, Click on the Exceptions button next to the field Block pop-up windows
Point to the dialog box.	This opens up a dialog box.
In the Address of web site field >> type ‘www.google.com’	In the Address of website field type ‘w w w dot google dot com’
Click on the Allow button.	Click on the Allow button.
Click Close	Click Close to close the dialog box
Click Close to close the preferences dialog box.	Click Close to close the preferences dialog box. Now pop-ups will be disallowed from all sites, except from google.com.
In the URL bar >> type ‘www.popuptest.com’ >> press Enter.	Now in the URL bar, type ‘w w w dot pop up test dot com’ and press Enter.
Click on the link Multi-popup test.	Click on the link Multi-popup test. Not a single popup has appeared. Your popup blocker is effective!
	Images take time and bandwidth to download. Mozilla Firefox has an option to selectively stop the downloading of images.
Click on Edit >> Preferences.	Click on Edit and then Preferences. Windows users, please click on Tools and then on Options.
In the Preferences dialog box >> click on Content tab.	In the Preferences dialog box, choose the Content tab.
Disable the check box for Load images automatically.	Disable the check box for Load images automatically.
Cick on Close to close the dialog box.	Click on Close to close the dialog box.
In the Search bar >> type Flowers >> press Enter.	Now, in the Search bar, let us type Flowers and press the Enter key.
From the google home page >> click on Images	From the google home page, click on 'Images'
Click on the first image link that appears.	click on the first image link that appears. We see that the image does not load. <Pause>
Point to the toolbars.	Mozilla Firefox offers a number of options to customize the toolbars.
Point to the Menu bar.	Let’s say we want to hide any toolbar. For example the Menu bar.
Right click on an empty section of the Menu bar >> uncheck it.	Right click on an empty section of the Menu bar. And uncheck it. That's it!
Right-click on an empty section of the toolbar area >> check the Menu bar option.	To view the the Menu bar again right-click on an empty section of the toolbar area. Now check the Menu bar option.
	Firefox offers advanced options to customize the toolbars. Lets look at some.
Point to the Toolbar.	Let us add an icon to the Toolbar, which will allow us to print a web page with a single click.
Right click on an empty section of the Toolbar.	Right click on an empty section of the Toolbar.
Click on Customize.	Click on Customize.
Point to the Customize Toolbar dialog box.	The Customize Toolbar dialog box appears.
In the dialog box >> point to the Print icon.	Within the dialog box, you see the Print icon.
Drag the icon onto the Toolbar.	Drag the icon onto the Toolbar.
Close the dialog box by clicking on Done button at bottom right corner.	Close the dialog box by clicking on Done.
Click on the Print icon in the Toolbar.	Click on the Print icon in the Toolbar. This brings up the Print dialog box.
Click on Cancel.	We will not be printing now. So click on Cancel to close the dialog box.
Right-click on the Toolbar >> select Customize.	You can also add or remove toolbars. To do so, right-click on the Toolbar and select Customize.
Click on Add new toolbar button.	Click on Add new toolbar button.
Type the name as Sample Toolbar.	Enter a name for the new toolbar. Let’s name it Sample Toolbar.
Click OK.	Click on OK button.
Drag and drop Downloads icon onto the Sample Toolbar.	Now drag and drop an icon, say Downloads, onto the Sample Toolbar.
Point to the new Toolbar in the browser.	Notice the new Toolbar in the browser.
Come back to the Customize Toolbar window. Click on Restore Default set button.	To remove a toolbar, click on Restore Default set button.
	In order to maximize the contents area, we can reduce the size of the icons.
Check on the check box titled Use Small icons.	Check on the check box titled Use Small icons.
Click Done.	Click Done to close the dialog box. <Pause>
Point to the icons in the toolbars in the browser.	We see that the size of the icons has become smaller.
