Geogebra Window – Linear Equation with Y - Intercept | Now to the second part of the lesson
First lets remove Trace on Point A Lets add the Y Intercept parameter

(Line with Y Intercept) |
To summarise again,
3x+b . Here we just called the function g(x) |

(Assignment) |
Now to the assignments –
Trace a Quadratic Function
Predict and input the f(x) = a x2 |

(Assignment contd) |
Make another slider b for the linear coefficient and set the constant term to 3
for the Y coordinate
|
Switch to Geogebra File Quadratic.ggb | I have already this assignments here. In this case let us select the trace on. We will change the xValue to the minimum. And then use the record to spreadsheet, select point A and move the xValue slider. We can input the predicted function 2 x squared + 2 x + 3. Notice the trace is along the parabola.
