Blue box on already logged in C-User >> then on New Patient tab | Let’s begin.
Note that in the STEMI Homepage, we are a C Hospital user.

Let’s assume a patient and enter the following details. | |
Enter Basic Details | Enter the patient’s name, age, gender, phone and address, as shown here. |
Blue box on Payment >> State BPL Insurance. | Next, choose the Payment from the drop-down.

Blue box on date and time of Symptom Onset. | Now, enter the date and time of Symptom Onset. |
Select Admission as Direct. | Next, Under Admission we see only one option Direct.
Ambulances don't bring patients to C spoke hospitals as it does not provide Thrombolysis or PCI. I’ll select Direct. |
Blue box on STEMI C Hospital Arrival Date and Time. | Then, we are prompted to enter the STEMI C Hospital Arrival Date and Time. |
Blue box on STEMI Details. | After this, we have to fill out the STEMI Details. |
Blue box on Manual ECG Taken | I’ll check Manual ECG Taken as Yes and then enter the Date and Time. |
Blue box on STEMI Confirmed | Since STEMI is confirmed from the Manual ECG Taken, I’ll check STEMI Confirmed as Yes.

Blue box on Transport Details | Lastly on this page, we have Transport Details. |
Transport Details >> Private | Here we will choose Private vehicle in this case.

Save and Continue button. | Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom of the page. |
Fibrinolytic Checklist. | The App will take us to the next page i.e. Fibrinolytic Checklist. |
Check all as No. | Only 12 items are displayed because the patient is Male.
If the patient was Female, 13 items would be displayed. I will check No against each of the 12 items displayed on this page. |
Save and Continue button. | After doing so, select the Save and Continue button at the bottom of the page. |
Blue box on Cardiac History page | We are now in the Cardiac History page. |
Previous MI, Angina, CABG, PCI1, PCI2 | I’ll check previous history Angina, CABG, PCI1, PCI2 as No. |
Location of pain >> Retrosternal | Then under Diagnosis, enter the details for that particular patient. |
Blue box on all items | After this, check the appropriate symptoms as observed in the patient. |
Blue box on Clinical Examination | Next part is Clinical Examination. |
Show filled details | Here we have to enter the Height, Weight and BMI of the patient. |
Show filled details | And also BP Systolic, BP Diastolic and Heart Rate. |

Co-Morbid Conditions page | We are now taken to the next page - Co-Morbid Conditions. |
Enter the details after consulting with the patient or the patient’s family. | |

Contact Details page | We are now taken to the next page, that is Contact Details. |
Here we have to enter the details of the patient’s relative. | |

Show filled details | Then comes ID proof section - Aadhar Card No. and the upload of the soft-copy. |
Save and Continue button. | Select Save & Continue button at the bottom. |
Blue box on In- Hospital Summary | The App now takes us to the next tab In-Hospital Summary. |
Under In hospital Summary >> Medication in Hospital | Here, we have Medication in hospital. |
Mark a few of them as Yes

The medications administered to the patient in the STEMI C Hospital, should be marked as Yes.
I’ll mark a few as ‘Yes’. On choosing Yes, we will be prompted to enter the Dosage, Date and Time details. Please note. The above dosage and selection of medications are an example meant for demo purposes only. Administer drugs as per patient’s condition and treatment modalities. |
Save and Continue button. | Select Save & Continue button at the bottom . |
Blue box on ADVERSE REACTION | The App now takes us to the next page which is Adverse Events. |
Under Adverse Events, we have to select either Yes or No.
On choosing Yes in each field, we will be prompted to enter some additional information. | |
Save and Continue button. | Then select the Save & Continue button at the bottom. |
Blue box on Discharge Summary | We are now in the Discharge Summary. page. |
Blue box on Death | Under Discharge Summary, we have Death. |
Select Death as No | I’ll select Death as ‘No’ for now. |
Save and Continue button. | Then select the Save & Continue button at the bottom of the page. |
Blue box on Discharge Summary | The App will direct us to the next page, that is, Discharge Medications. |
Mark a few of them as Yes | The medications prescribed to the patient during discharge, should be marked as Yes.

Fill out Discharge from C hospital date and time | Discharge from C hospital.
Fill out the Date and Time |
Discharge To >> STEMI Cluster Hospital | In *Discharge To field, select Stemi Cluster Hospital. |
Select Transfer to Hospital Name: | Then select the Transfer to Hospital Name: from the drop-down list. |
Point to address | On doing so, the Transfer to Hospital Address: gets auto-populated. |
Blue box on Transport Vehicle | In Transport Vehicle field, choose Private (or GVK EMRI Ambulance).

Click on Finish | Lastly, click on Finish button. |
This completes the data entry of the new patient in a STEMI C Hospital. | |
Slide | The patient has now arrived at an A/B Hospital. |
Slide | This is the synopsis of the procedure to be followed at the A/B Hospital. |
Let's now learn how to enter further data on the STEMI App in the A/B Hospital. | |
Blue box on stemiAuser | Note that we are in the STEMI Homepage as an A/B Hospital user. |
Select Search tab | Select the Search tab. |
Type Venugopal >> select Search | Type the Id or name of the patient transferred from the STEMI C Hospital.
Then select the Search button at the bottom of the page. Once the patient file is opened select the Edit button at the top right corner to open the edit mode. Do likewise, to edit the remaining pages. |
Blue box on Basic Details | We are now moved to the first tab Patient Details and the first page– Basic Details. |
Here, all the details filled in the STEMI C Hospital are displayed. | |
Blue box on A/B Hospital Arrival Date and Time. | In the A/B Hospital, we will have to fill the A/B Hospital Arrival Date and Time. |
Select Save and Continue | Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom. |
Blue box on Fibrinolytic Checklist | Skip the following pages as data entry in these pages have already been done in the STEMI C Hospital. |
Coloured box - Narration | In an A Hospital, Thrombolysis is done if the Cath Lab and specialized team is not available.
In a B Hospital, Thrombolysis is done, if the patient is brought in after PCI hours. |
In this scenario, Thrombolysis has been done. | |
Blue box on Medications prior to Thrombolysis | The App has brought us to the Medications prior to Thrombolysis page. |
Here, we have to enter the details of the medications administered to the patient. | |
Blue box on Clopidogrel | I will enter Clopidogrel as Yes, and then fill the Dosage, Date and Time. |
Select Save and Continue | Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom.

Blue box on Thrombolysis | We are now moved to the Thrombolysis page. |
Blue box on Select any one Thrombolytic agent >> Select Streptokinase. | Here, select any one Thrombolytic agent. I'll select Streptokinase. |
Blue box on Dosage, Date and Time. | And then enter the Dosage, Date and Time. |
Blue box on 90 min ECG, Date and Time. | 90 min ECG, Date and Time. |
Blue box on Successful Lysis Yes/No. | Successful Lysis Yes/No based on the 90 mins ECG |
Select Save and Continue | Then select the Save and Continue button at the bottom. |
Blue box on PCI | The App now takes us to the next tab PCI. |
Blue box on Drugs before PCI | Here, we have Drugs before PCI page. |
Make entries in PCI | Enter the details of the drugs administered to the patient before PCI, with Date and Time details. |
Select Save and Continue | Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom. |
On PCI page | The next page is PCI. |
Remove Blue box on Cath Lab Activation and Cath Lab Arrival.
The entire page happens inside a cath lab hence the blue box around Cath lab activation and Cath Lab Arrival to be removed. |
The details in this page have to be entered either by a cardiologist or a Cath Lab technician only.

Blue box on Vascular access
Blue box on Catheter access. |
Next we have Vascular access followed by Catheter access. |
Blue box on CART, Start & End Date and Time | Then fill the CART details such as

Blue box on Culprit Vessel | After this, we have to specify any one Culprit Vessel from the options provided. |
Then enter all the details relevant for that Culprit Vessel. | |
Blue box on Management | Now, make the relevant entries under Management for that patient. |
Blue box on Intervention | Lastly on this page, we have Intervention. |
Select Intervention | When the option Intervention is selected, we get some more details below. |
Fill out the ones that are relevant for that particular patient. | |
Select Save and Continue | Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom. |
Blue box on Medications in Cath Lab | We are now in the Medications in Cath Lab page. |
Enter the details of the medications administered to the patient in the Cath Lab. | |

Select Save and Continue | Then select the Save and Continue button at the bottom. |
Blue box on Discharge Medications. | Next comes Discharge Medications. |
Once again, enter the relevant ones for that patient, from the options displayed on this page. | |
Select Save and Continue | Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom. |
Blue box on Discharge/Transfer | Now we are taken to the Discharge or Transfer page. |
Select Add Transfer Details | Here, select the Add Transfer Details button. |
Blue box on Discharge from the A/B Hospital | Now, we need to enter the details related to the discharge from the A/B Hospital.
