http://expeyes.in/hardware-availability and press Enter. A web page opens with all the details to buy the device. |

On the page, click on SOFTWARE tab.

Click on link expeyes.deb
Point to Save File dialog box Select Save File click on OK. |
Click on the link expeyes.deb.
In the Save File dialog box, select Save File and click on OK. |
Click on the downloaded file. | Click on the downloaded file. |

The file opens in Ubuntu Software Centre.

Point to Authenticate dialog box.
Type the system password Click on Authenticate button. |

The installation may take a few minutes.
But you have not shown how to verify that the software has been installed To verify that the software has been installed, click on Dash Home. Now type ExpEYES in the Search bar. The ExpEYES Junior icon is now seen. Click on it to open it. | |

Now, let's see how to install the software on a Netbook. |
Point to Lubuntu software Center. | ExpEYES software can be installed on a Netbook using Lubuntu Software Center. |
Right click on Software Center icon.
Select Open. Point to Lubuntu Software center. |

Select Open. Lubuntu Software Center window opens. |
In Search a package box, type expeyes

Point to the Status bar.
Click on the Add to the Apps Basket button. |
On the Status bar, click on Add to the Apps Basket button. |
Point to Menu bar, click on Apps Basket button.

Point to Package list, select Expeyes.
Click on Install Packages button. |
From the Package list, select Expeyes.

Point to Authenticate dialog box.
Type system password. Click on Authenticate button. |

Show the connection of Netbook to the device using USB cable. | Connect the Netbook to the device using USB cable. |

Navigate to Education. |
To open the software interface on Netbook, click on Start button.
Then on Education. |
Select ExpEYES Junior.
Point to the software interface. |

Please ensure that wifi or Data pack is available on your Andriod device. |
Show the connection of Android to the device using OTG cable. | ExpEYES Junior device can be connected through OTG cable to your mobile. |
Click on the Home button on your mobile.
Point to Google Play Store in the Android. |
Click on Home button on your mobile.
Navigate to Google Play Store. |
Click on APPS.
Point to APPS. |
Click on APPS.
APPS page opens. |
Click on magnifying glass on the top right corner. | Click on magnifying glass on the top right corner. |
Type expeyes, click on the ExpEYES.
Click on INSTALL. |
Type expeyes, click on ExpEYES. <pause>
Click on INSTALL. |
Point to Accept. | Accept the license agreement.
The download starts immediately. |
Click on OPEN. | After downloading, click on OPEN. |
Point to ExpEYES Experiments dialog box. | ExpEYES Experiments dialog box opens. |
Click on the checkbox, Use by default for this USB device. | Click on the checkbox, Use by default for this USB device. |
Click on OK.
Point to ExpEYES interface. |
Click on OK.
The interface opens. |

Installation Windows OS |
Next, let us learn to install the software on Windows Operating System. |
Point to the address bar, type the url expeyes.in
press Enter. |
Open your default web browser.
In the address bar, type the URL expeyes.in and press Enter. ExpEYES page opens. |
Click on SOFTWARE tab, Scroll down to MS Windows. | Click on SOFTWARE tab.
Scroll down to MS Windows. |
Point to Window Desktop. | For Windows installation, we need to install Python interpreter and its required libraries. |
Point to all the libraries.
Show all related drivers |
Download and install the following drivers and files:

Point to the files in Downloads library. | I have already downloaded all the files in my Downloads folder. |
Right click on expeyes-3.0.0 zip file >> click on Extract Here option.
Point to the extracted file. |
Right click on expeyes-3.0.0 zip file and click on Extract Here option.
The contents of the zip file are extracted. |
Double click on expeyes-3.0.0 folder. | Double click on expeyes-3.0.0 folder. |
Double click on expeyes-junior folder.
Point to the list. |
Double click on eyes-junior folder.
A list of files is displayed. |
Navigate to croplus file.
Right click, select Properties. Point to croplus Properties window. |
Locate croplus file.
Now right click and select Properties. croplus Properties window opens. |
Click on Change button, Select Python, click OK. | Click on Change button.
Select Python, then click OK. |
Click OK in the Properties window.
Double click croplus file. |
Click OK in the Properties window.
Double click on croplus file. |
Point to the Python exe file
Point to ExpEYES junior interface. |
You can see that Python exe file is running.
Now, the software interface opens. |
Point to ExpEYES junior interface. | Please note, while installing the software on Windows 8/8.1, we have to enable unsigned driver installation in settings. |
Show connection to the system.
Point to the interface. |
We can now connect the device to our system using the USB port.
Once connected, the software interface opens. |
Now, I will demonstrate a basic experiment using the device and its interface.
The aim of this experiment is to ................... | |
Show the connections and interface. | First of all, we will require a battery as an external source of voltage to the device.
Voltage of the battery should be “3V”. For this experiment, Ground terminal and A1 terminal should be connected to the battery. |
Click on A1 to show the voltage across the A1 terminal.
Point to the voltage |
On the interface, click on A1 to show the voltage across A1 terminal.
The displayed voltage is “+3.15V”. On reversing the connection, the voltage is “-3.14V” |
Point to the displayed values. | Instead of the battery, we can also use PVS as the internal source of voltage.
So, this time I have connected A1 to PVS.
The displayed voltage of PVS is “3.001V”. |
Click on A1 to show the voltage across the A1 terminal. | On the top left corner, click on A1.
The displayed voltage of A1 is “3.008V”. |
