00.01	Hello everyone. નમસ્તે મિત્રો ઉબ્નટુ લીનક્સમાં Desktop Customization પરના સ્પોકન ટ્યુટોરીયલમાં તમારું સ્વાગત છે.
00.08	આ ટ્યુટોરીયલ માં આપણે શીખીશું Launcher વિષે Launcher માં એપ્લીકેશનને કેવી રીતે ઉમેવી અને કાઢવી. બહુવિધ desktops વાપરવા. Internet connectivity Sound settings Time અને Date સેટિંગ અને અન્ય user accounts માં સ્વીત્ચ કરવું.
00.27	આ માટે હું ઉપયોગ કરી રહી છું Ubuntu Linux OS 14.10
00.34	ચાલો Launcher. સાથે શરૂઆત કરીએ.
00.36	Launcher એ ઉબુન્ટુ લીનક્સ ડેસ્કટોપના ડાબી બાજુના ડીફોલ્ટ પેનલ છે જે મૂળભૂત એપ્લીકેશન ધરાવે છે.
00.44	વારે ઘડીએ વપરાતા એપ્લીકેશન માટે Launcher તેને સરળ બનાવે છે.
00.49	તો આપણે ફક્ત "desktop shortcut" ના Launcher પર ક્લિક કરીને પ્રોગ્રામને લોન્ચ કરી શકીએ છીએ.
00.56	Launcher મૂળભૂત રીતે અમુક એપ્લીકેશનો ધરાવે છે.
01.00	ચાલો જરૂરિયાત અનુસાર Launcher ને કસ્ટમાઇઝ કરીએ.
01.06	For my regular work, I need applications like મારા નિયમિત કામ તરીકે મારી જરૂરિયાત એપ્લીકેશન છે Terminal, LibreOffice Writer, Gedit અને બીજા ઘણા .
01.15	ચાલો આ એપ્લીકેશનો Launcher. પર ઉમેરીએ.
01.19	આ કરવા પહેલા મને જે અમુક એપ્લીકેશનો નથી જોતા તેને કાઢી નાખું.
01.25	હું VLC એપ્લીકેશન ને કાઢવા ઈચ્છું છું
01.30	VLC એપ્લીકેશન પર જમણું ક્લિક કરો અને Unlock from Launcher. પસંદ કરો.
01.37	તમે જોઈ શકો છો કે VLC એપ્લીકેશન આઇકન હવે લોન્ચરથી નીકળી છે.
01.43	તે જ રીતે જે એપ્લીકેશન આપણે વારંવાર નથી વાપરતા તેને કાઢી શકાય છે.
01.49	જેવું તમે અહી જોઈ થયા છીએ મેં મારા ડેસ્કટોપના લોન્ચર થી અમુક એપ્લીકેશન કાઢી નાખી છે.
01.55	હવે હું લોન્ચર પર ટર્મિનલ શોર્ટક્ટ ઉમેરીશ.
02.00	Dash Home. પર ક્લિક કરો.
02.02	search bar, માં ટાઈપ કરો “terminal”.
02.05	Terminal આઇકન ને kholwa માટે તે પર ક્લિક કરો .
02.09	તમે Terminal આઇકન ને લોન્ચર પર જોઈ શકો છો Launcher.
02.13	લોન્ચર પર ટર્મિનલ આઇકન ફિક્સ કરવા માટે પ્રથમ તે પર જમણું ક્લિક કરો.
02.18	પછી Lock to Launcher. પર ક્લિક કરો.
02.21	લોન્ચર પર એપ્લીકેશન શોર્ટક્ટ ફિક્સ કરવા બીજો માર્ગ છે.ડ્રેગીંગ અને ડ્રોપીંગ. હવે હું આને બતાડીશ.
02.30	Dash Home ખોલો અને search bar, માં ટાઈપ કરો libreOffice.
02.37	LibreOffice આઇકન ને Launcher. પર ડ્રેગ કરો.
02.42	જેમ જ આપણે આ કરીએ છીએ “Drop to Add application”. ના સાથે ટેક્સ્ટ દેખાઈ શકે છે .જો નથી દેખાતો તો પણ કોઈ ચિંતા ના કરો.
02.51	હવે LibreOffice આઇકન ને લોન્ચર પર ડ્રોપ કરો.
02.55	તમે જોઈ શકો છો કે શોર્ટ ક્ટ 'હવે લોન્ચર પર ઉમેરાયું છે.
03.00	આ રીતે આપણે લોન્ચર પર શોર્ટક્ટ ઉમેરી શકીએ છીએ.
03.04	Ubuntu Linux OS માં વધુ એક મહ્ત્વપૂર્ણ ફીચર છે multiple desktop અથવા Workspace Switcher.
03.12	Sometimes we may be working on multiple applications.
03.17	And we may find it difficult to switch from one application to another.
03.22	To make it more convenient, we can use Workspace Switcher.
03.27	Let’s come back to the Launcher.
03.30	On the Launcher,locate Workspace Switcher icon. Click on it.
03.36	It shows 4 quadrants with 4 Desktops.
03.40	By default, the top-left Desktop is selected.
03.44	That is the Desktop in which we are currently working.
03.48	Now, let’s select the second Desktop by clicking on it.
03.53	I will open the Terminal here by clicking on the icon in the Launcher.
03.59	Now, click on the Workspace Switcher again.
04.02	You can see the Terminal on the second Workspace Switcher and our Desktop on the first.
04.09	In this way, you can work on multiple Desktops.
04.12	Let us come back to the first Desktop.
04.15	Trash is another important icon on the Launcher.
04.19	Trash contains all the deleted files and folders.
04.23	In case we delete a file accidentally, we can restore it from Trash.
04.28	To demonstrate this, I will delete DIW file, which is on my Desktop.
04.33	Right-click on the file and click on the option Move to Trash.
04.38	To restore it, just click on the Trash icon in the Launcher.
04.43	The Trash folder opens.
04.46	Select the file, right-click on it and click on Restore.
04.50	Close the Trash window and come back to the desktop.
04.54	We can see the file which we deleted earlier is now restored.
04.59	To delete a file permanently from your system, first select it and then press Shift+Delete.
05.07	A dialog box saying Are you sure want to permanently delete DIW will appear. Click on Delete.
05.15	Click on the Trash icon once again.
05.18	We can't find the file in the Trash folder, as it is permanently deleted from our system.
05.24	Now, we'll see some applications available at the top right corner of the Desktop.
05.31	First one is Internet connectivity.
05.34	Connection is established if you are connected to any Lan or Wifi network.
05.39	You can see these over here.
05.42	You can select the network which you have access to.
05.46	To Enable/ Disable the network, check/uncheck the Enable Networking option.
05.52	We can also edit the networks using Edit Connections option.
05.57	Next option is Sound. Click on it.
06.00	You can see a slider here. This helps us to increase or decrease the audio level, as per our choice.
06.07	We can further adjust the sound level of our system by clicking on Sound Settings.
06.14	Explore the settings in this window on your own.
06.17	Next icon is Time & Date.
06.20	If we click on this icon, the calendar opens up. We can see the current date, month and year here.
06.29	Arrow buttons allow us to move to other months and years, as per our choice.
06.35	We can edit date and time by clicking on Time & Date Settings. Explore this option further on your own.
06.44	Next, click on the wheel icon.
06.47	Here we can see some shortcut options along with Log Out and Shut Down options.
06.53	We can also see all the User accounts available in our system.
06.59	We can switch to whichever user account we wish to, by clicking on that particular user.
07.05	Let us summarise.
