| Slide: What is a plugin? | Let us begin by understanding what a plugin is.
A plugin is an add-on that provides additional features in Moodle. |
| Login as admin | We are logged in as the Admin user. |
| Screen: Site administration >> Plugins >> Plugins overview Screen: Plugins overview page | Go to Site administration >> Plugins >> Plugins overview.
This page shows already installed plugins and their settings. |
| Screen: Scroll to File Submissions, Advanced Grading methods | For example: Plugins like File Submissions and Advanced Grading methods can be configured. |
| Scroll down to Assignment Submission plugins. | Let’s learn to configure the settings of Assignment Submission plugins. |
| Click on File submissions plugin >> Settings | Click on File submissions Settings. |
| Change Maximum files per submission >> 5. | Change Maximum files per submission to 5. |

First, go to (https://moodle.org/plugins/) |
| Search “HP5” >> select Moodle 4.5 | In the Search box type HP5.
And in Moodle version box, select Moodle 4.5 |
| Point to Microsoft Word File Import/Export (Question Format) >> Click on it. | The search result shows Microsoft Word File Import/Export (Question Format).

| This plugin allows quiz questions to be imported from a Word file into Moodle.
The plugin also imports tables, images, and equations from the Word file. | |
| Click on Download >> Verify that you are human >> click on 3.9.7 version | Click on Download.

Click Choose a file and follow the steps. |

Click on Plugins >> Install plugins. We come to the Plugin Installer page. Click Choose a file and follow the prompts for selection of this plugin. |

Search “Completion Progress” >> select Moodle 4.5 In the search results click on Completion Progress Click on Download Back to your Moodle interface>> Click on Plugins >> Install Plugins>> come to Plugin Installer page >> Click Choose a file and select this zip file >> follow the steps to install. |
Likewise, install the Completion Progress plugin by following the on-screen instructions.
This is a useful plugin for teachers to visually see the progress of the students in a course. |
