STEP is an interactive tool for learning Physics. Using this tool, you can model the physical world through simulations. STEP can be used very effectively for demonstrating complex interactions in mechanics. Besides building the simulations, we can also graph the properties of the objects that are being modeled. After the theory has been introduced, models can be used to reinforce understanding. STEP is a good supplement for syllabus at the college level.
STEP is part of the KDE project and can be downloaded using Synaptic Package Manager.
In this series of tutorials, we will learn the use of STEP through a series of simulations.
