Switch to slide no 1 Welcome to Spoken-tutorial . In the coming few minutes we will talk on how to create a forum.

To start building your course let us start writing a news item .The news forum is a special type of forum which is started when the course is first generated . It is E-Mailed to all the people present in the course .

To add a news item:

 Click the News Forum link near the top of your course page.

 Click the “Add a new topic” button. You’ll see the page to add a new topic . Add the subject as “Architecture of 8086” and in the message box type out the description of it . Students who have doubts in the topic can specify parts of your forum in the further discussions for clarification.

Type your new message to your class.

 Click the “Save changes” button. You will be returned to the News Forum page.

Click on your course name in the navigation bar at the top to return to your course page.
