Slide Welcome to the spoken tutorial on Installation of Scilab on Windows operating system.
Slide This procedure is applicable to all versions of Scilab and other versions of windows operating system.
Slide I will Install Scilab version 5.2 on windows operating system.
Slide You can download scilab from the scilab.org website.
Website Page Go to the Products select download and click on it, scroll down select scilab5.2.2 under the windows section click on it.
Demonstration This will open a dialog to download the exe file.
Demonstration Click save file this will start downloading the exe file.
Demonstration It will take few minutes. I will minimize this.
Demonstration I will minimize the browser.
Slide The direct link to download scilab is as shown.
Narration Before starting the installation process please make sure that your computer is connected to internet.
Narration It is required to download and install Intel Math Kernal Library during the installation process.
Demonstration I will minimize this.
Demonstration Double click on the downloaded setup file to start the installation procedure.
Demonstration Click on Run
Demonstration Select set up language as English.click Ok
Narration This will start the setup wizard.
Demonstration Click Next.
Demonstration Accept the license agreement click Next.
Demonstration Select a destination folder to install scilab on your computer.
Demonstration Click Next.
Demonstration Go for full Installation.
Demonstration Click Next.

Demonstration Click Install to start the installation process.
Demonstration Click Ok to give the Internet Permission.
Narration This will start downloading the Intel Math Kernal Library for Scilab.

Narration The downloading of Intel Math Kernal Library has completed and the installation procedure for scilab has started.
Narration This will again take few minutes.
Demonstration Click finish to complete the Installation Procedure.
Demonstration This will Launch Scilab 5.2 on your computer.
