00:01 Welcome to the Spoken Tutorial on “Create and edit multiple objects” using Inkscape.
00:08 In this tutorial, we will learn to Copy and paste ઓબ્જેચ્ત્સ
00:13 Duplicate and clone objects
00:16 Group and Order various objects
00:19 Multiple selection and invert selection
00:22 Clipping and Masking
00:25 To record this tutorial, I am using Ubuntu Linux 12.04 OS
00:31 Inkscape version 0.48.4
00:35 Go to Dash home and type Inkscape.
00:39 You can open Inkscape by clicking on the logo.
00:42 Let's open the Assignment_1.svg file that we created earlier.
00:49 I had saved it in my Documents folder.
00:52 First we will learn how to copy and paste an object.
00:56 To do so, we should first select an object. So, click on the pentagon.
01:02 Now, press Ctrl + C on your keyboard to copy it.
01:07 Now press Ctrl + V to paste the object. You can see a copy of the pentagon on the canvas.
01:17 There are 3 other ways of creating copies of objects.
01:21 In all these 3 methods, a copy of the object is created exactly above the original one.
01:29 The first method is called Paste Special.
01:32 Recall that we had already pressed Ctrl + C to copy the object.
01:38 To paste the object in the exact location from where it was copied, press Ctrl + Alt + V keys.
01:47 Move the copied object to see the original object right below it.
01:54 Let us move these two objects and keep it aside.
01:57 The second method is called Duplication. For duplication, we do not need to copy the object first.
02:05 Select the pentagon and press Ctrl + D keys on your keyboard.
02:13 Now a duplicate pentagon is created exactly on the top of the original one.
02:19 Let us move the duplicated object to see the original one below it.
02:25 The changes made on the duplicated object does not affect the original object.
02:32 Let us check this by changing its color to green and reducing its size.
02:40 The third method is called Cloning.
02:44 Click on the ellipse and press Alt + D to create a clone.
02:49 As before, the cloned object is created exactly above the original one.
02:55 Let us move it aside to make it visible.
02:58 Please note that the cloned object will always be linked to the original object.
03:04 The original object is also known as its parent.
03:08 Any modifications on the original object, that is, in size, color etc. will affect its clone.
03:16 Let us check this by changing the original objects's color to pink, rotating it and reducing its size.
03:30 Observe that the exact same changes are replicated in the cloned object automatically.
03:36 To unlink the clone from the original object, first select the clone and then press Shift + Alt + D.
03:44 Now, select the original object again and change its size.
03:50 Observe that the cloned object does not get affected.
03:54 The short-cut icons for these operations are present in the command bar, as shown.
04:01 To select multiple objects hold the Shift key and click on the objects that you want to select.

જૂથમાંના એક ઓબ્જેક્ટ ને પસંદ કરવા માટે Ctrl બટન દબાવો અને ઓબ્જેક્ટ પર ક્લિક કરો.

05:08 આ ક્રિયા વડે આપને જૂથમાં દાખલ થઈને વ્યક્તિગત ઓબ્જેક્ટો પસંદ કરી શકીએ છીએ.
05:13 જૂથમાંથી બહાર નીકળવા માટે કેનવાસ પર કોઈ પણ ખાલી જગ્યાએ ક્લિક કરો.
05:18 ઓબ્જેક્ટને જૂથ મુક્ત કરવા માટે પહેલા જૂથ પસંદ કરો અને Ctrl + Shift + G કી અથવા Ctrl + U કી અમાની કોઈ એકને દબાઓ.


05:28 હવે ellipses જૂથથી મુક્ત થાય છે.
05:31 આ ઓપરેશનો માટે શોર્ટ-કટ અઈકોનો ,દર્શાવ્યા પ્રમાણે કમાંડ બારમાં ઉપલબ્ધ છે.
05:36 કેનવાસ પર તમામ ઓબ્જેક્ટો પસંદ પસંદ કરવા માટે Ctrl + A કી દબાઓ.
05:42 તમામ ઓબ્જેક્ટોને નાપસંદ કરવા માટે કેનવાસ પર આવેલ કોઈ પણ ખાલી જગ્યા પર ક્લિક કરો.
05:48 આપણને જો કોઈ એકને છોડીને બાકીના તમામ ઓબ્જેક્ટો પસંદ કરવા હોય તો, આપણે Invert Selection વિકલ્પ વાપરી શકીએ છીએ.
05:55 માની લોકે, આપણે એરો શિવાયના તમામ ઓબ્જેક્ટો પસંદ કરવા છે.
05:59 તો પહેલા એરો પર ક્લિક કરો.હવે Edit menu માં જાવ અને Invert selection. પર ક્લિક કરો.


06:08 કેનવસમાંના તમામ ઓબ્જેક્ટો એરો શિવાય હવે પસંદ થયા છે તેની નોંધ લો.
06:16 હવે ચાલો શીખીએ કે ઓબ્જેક્ટોને કેવી રીતે ક્રમ બધ્ધ કરવા.
06:20 ચાલો હું નાના પંચકોણને મોટા પંચકોણની ઉપરની બાજુએ ખસેડું.
06:25 હવે ચાલો એક સ્ટાર દેરીએ અને તેને નાના પંચકોણની ઉપરની બાજુએ ખસેડું.
06:36 નાના પંચકોણને પસંદ કરો.Object menu માં જાવ અને Raise. પર ક્લિક કરો.
06:42 નોંધ લો કે નાનો પંચકોણ હવે ઊંચકાયો છે અને સ્ટાર ની ઉપર છે.
06:47 હવે સ્ટાર પર ક્લિક કરો. Object menu. માં જાવ Lower. પર ક્લિક કરો.
06:53 હવે સ્ટાર નીચે ખસ્યો છે અથવા કે નીચે ધકેલાયો છે અને મોટો પંચકોણ હવે તેની ઉપર દ્રશ્યમાન થાય છે.
07:00 હવે ચાલો હું મોટા પંચકોણ પર ક્લિક કરું, Object menu માં જવ અને Raise to top. પર ક્લિક કરો.હવે મોટા પંચકોણ ઉપર ટોંચે દ્રશ્યમાન થાય છે.
07:11 હવે ફરીથી Object menu. માં જાવ Lower to bottom. પર ક્લિક કરો.મોટા પંચકોણ હવે નીચેની બાજુએ ખસ્યો છે તેની નોંધ લો.
07:20 આ વિકલ્પો આપણને Tool controls bar માં પણ મળી શકે છે.
07:25 આગળ ચાલો શીખીએ Clipping. ક્વેઈ રીતે કરવું.
07:28 ક્લિપિંગ તેમની શેપને જલ્દી અને સરળતાથી બદલીને
07:31 તમારા ડીઝાઈનના અન્ય એલિમેન્ટ અથવા શેપને
07:35 કન્ફર્મ કરવા માટે તમારા જટિલ ઓબ્જેક્ટ બનાવી શકે છે.
07:39 આ ડેમોનટ્રેશન માટે હું એક ઈમેજનો ઉપયોગ કરીશ. નવી ઇન્સ્કેપ ફાઈલમાં મારી પાસે અહી એક ઈમેજ છે.
07:45 On this image I will draw an shape. આ ઈમેજ પર હું એક ellipse આકાર દોરીશ.
07:49 હવે ઈમેજ અને ellipse પસંદ કરો .
07:53 Object menu. માં જાવ Clip પર ક્લિક કરો.અને Set. પર ક્લિક કરો.
07:59 નોંધ લો ઈમેજ હવે ellipse ના આકારમાં કલીપ થયી છે.
08:04 ક્લીપીંગમાં કલીપ તરીકે વપરાતા ઓબ્જેક્ટોનો આકાર,દ્ર્શ્યીત વિસ્તાર વ્યાખ્યિત કરે છે.
08:09 આપણે કલીપને રદ કરી શકીએ છીએ.તે માટે પાછા Object menu. માં જાવ Clip પર ક્લિક કરો અને ત્યારબાદ Release. પર ક્લિક કરો.
08:17 હવે કલીપ મુક્ત થઇ ગયું છે.
08:19 આગળ ચાલો Masking કરતા શીખીએ.
08:22 Masking આ Clipping ના જેવુજ છે.
08:25 In Masking માં, એક એક ઓબ્જેક્ટની પાર્દ્ર્શતા અથવા ઝાંખાપણું બીજા ઓબ્જેક્ટની અપર્દ્શ્તા નક્કી કરે છે.
08:32 ને ડેમોનસ્ટ્રેટ કરવા માટે હું પહેલા ગ્રેડિયન્ટ ટુલ વાપરીને ellipseને અર્ધ- પારદર્શક બનાવીએ.
08:38 હવે ellipse પસંદ કરો.
08:40 Object menu. પર જાવ Fill and stroke. પર ક્લિક કરો.
08:44 Radial gradient પર ક્લિક કરો અને ત્યાર બાદ Edit. પર ક્લિક કરો.
08:50 રંગ કરવા માટે RGB sliders ને એકદમ જમણી બાજુએ ખસેડો.
09:00 Stop ડ્રોપ ડાઉન એરો પર ક્લિક કરો.અને બીજું stop. પસંદ કરો.
09:05 રંગ કાળો બદલી કરવા માટે RGB sliders ને એકદમ ડાબી બાજુએ ખસેડો અને આલ્ફાની વેલ્યુ 255 કરો.
09:15 વચ્ચે હજુ એક રંગ ઉમેરવા માટે Add stop પર ક્લિક કરો.
09:20 Node tool પર ક્લિક કરો અને હીરા વાળા હાથને ટોચની તરફે ખસેડો.
09:27 હવે ઈમેજ અને ellipse પસંદ કરો.
09:30 Object menu. પર જાવ.
09:32 Mask પર ક્લિક કરો અને ત્યાર બાદ સેટ Set. પર ક્લિક કરો.
09:36 mask ઈમેજ પર બને છે તેનું અવલોકન કરો.
09:40 નોંધ લો કે ઈમેજ masking ઓબ્જેક્ટની પાર્દ્ર્શતા પ્રોપર્ટી લે છે,જે કે ellipse છે.
09:47 માસ્કને રદ કરવા માટે પાછા Object menu. પર જાવ.
09:51 Mask પર ક્લિક કરો અને પછી Release. પર જાવ.
09:54 The mask હવે રદ થયી ગયું છે.
09:56 ચાલો સારાંશ લઈએ.
09:57 આ ટ્યુટોરીયલમાં ,આપણે શીખ્યા ઓબ્જેક્ટો કોપી અને પેસ્ટ કરવા.

10:05 વિભિન્ન ઓબ્જેક્ટનું જૂથ બનવું તેમજ ક્રમમાં બેસાડવું.

10:15 ગ્રે રંગમાં ઉભો ellipse અને કળા રંગમાં વર્તુળ બનાવો.
10:20 વર્તુળને ellipse ના ઉપરના મધ્યમાં મુકો.
10:23 તે આંખના આકારનું દેખવું જોઈએ.
10:25 હવે તેને જૂથ બધ્ધ કરો.
10:27 આગળ બીજી આંખ બનાવવા માટે clone બનાવો.
10:31 તેને બાજુમાં ખસેડો જેથી બંને આંખો દેખાય.
10:35 ભૂરા રંગમાં વર્તુળ અને લાલ રંગમાં ચોરસ બનાવો.
10:40 ચોરસની નકલ બનાવો અને બંને ચોરસને ત્રાસી રીતે વિરુધ્ધ દિશામાં રાખો.
10:45 બંને ચોરસો પસંદ કરો અને તેમને એકલ ઓબ્જેક્ટમાં જૂથબધ્ધ કરો.
10:50 વર્તુળને જૂથબધ્ધ થયેલ ચોરસના ઉપર મધ્યમાં મુકો.
10:54 બંનેને પસંદ કરો અને clip બનાવો. તે ધનુષ જેવું દેખાવું જોઈએ.
11:00 તમારું પૂર્ણ અસાઇનમેન્ટ આવું દેખાવું જોઈએ.
