It automatically checks whether the application is running on Emulator or Tablet

It is used to test the application or modify ABT source code

It is located on the left of the screen.

Select Change server location, to switch to Remote server.

It can be within an institute or an organization.

It requires a live internet connection.

The advantage is, each user will have his/her own account on the server.

Tap on Done and finally tap on OK button

• Create new organization and
• Select existing organization

And here at the bottom you will see a brief information on ABT

Let's create a new organization by tapping on Create new organization button.

• Enter organization name
• Select organization type
• Set from-date & Set to-date

In the Enter organization name field, we will type Free Accounting Foundation.

Tap on Done .

NGO and Profit Making

I will select NGO as my option.

ABT provides 1st April to 31st March as the default financial year.

Once the from date is set, to date gets automatically updated.

It gets updated by 12 months and minus 1 day.

After filling all the necessary data, tap on Next button

• Oops, it says, it,
• Can not connect to remote server!!Please set IP again or check server is running!!Re-establishing connection to local server...

The alert says that,

• If the remote server address is not running ABT server or
• If the address is incorrect,it cannot connect to remote server
• and so
• It is establishing connection to local or default server i.e. tablet or emulator.

Tap on OK Now again tap on Next button.

It says organization Free Accounting Foundation has been created successfully We can even notice the financial year - from-date and to-date

Guest user has a default username guest and password also as guest.

It will prompt a sign up window to create an admin.

Tap on Next

Enter the password for admin1

Re-enter the password

You can give any username and password of your choice.

Tap on Done

This answer will help to login, in case you forget your password.

And finally tap on the Done button to complete the registration process.

Enter the password for admin.

And finally tap on Login button.

We have successfully logged in as admin

Fill the organization details if required or tap Skip button.

After making changes I shall tap on Save button

Tap on OK

We will see the created organization in the Organization name field.
