On loading application, it automatically checks whether the application is running on emulator or tablet.

Point to Tablet

- Tablet option is chosen automatically to run ABT on Android device.
|
Point to Emulator
|
- For Android developers, Emulator option to test app or modify ABT source code is chosen
|
Point to remote server
|
- Drag the screen from left to right to find Change server location option.
- Select Change server location, to switch to Remote server
|
Point to Change server location
|
- On selecting Change server location , it prompts a dialog to enter remote server IP address
- It requires a live internet connection
- It can be within an organization or an institute.
- User can access a centralized remote server running within the institute.
- The advantage is, each user will have his/her own account on the server.

On the first page, we can see 2 buttons at the top,
- Create new organization and
- Select existing organization
- And here at the bottom you will see a brief information on ABT

- The first step to get started is to create an organization
- To get started, there should be at least one organization.
- So, we will now create a new organization by selecting Create new organization button
|
|
Now we can view options like:
- Enter organization name
- Select organization type
- and Set from-date & Set to-date
|

|
- In the Enter organization name field we can enter any organization name
- For example Free Accounting Foundation
- Tap on Done
|
Tap on dropdown of Select organization type
|
In select organization type, we have 2 options
- NGO
- Profit Making
- I shall select NGO as my option
|
Point to Financial year
|
- Now here we can set from-date and to-date in financial year option
- ABT provides 1st April to 31st March as the predefined financial year
- User can change the from-date and to-date manually according to organization’s rules or requirements.
- Once the from date is set, to date gets automatically updated by 12 months and minus 1 day.

- After filling all the necessary data lets tap on next button

- On this page, it says organization Free Accounting Foundation has been created successfully
- Even we can notice the financial year - from-date and to-date
|
Select role
|
- Here we have to select role such as admin or guest.
- Guest user has a default username guest and password is also guest
|
Point to admin
|
- If we select admin, a new pop-up appears on the screen to sign up as an Admin.
- Let us enter username as admin and password also admin
- Re-type the password
- Lets select a question and enter its answer
- Select gender
- Press done to continue for admin
|
Point to login

- After signing up successfully, lets login
|
Point to next page
|
- On the next page, we have to fill organization details
- Fill the organization details if required, else press Skip button.

Point to State dropdown

- I shall select Maharashtra from state dropdown
|
Point to Save button
|
- Organization gets created by pressing either Save or Skip button.
- I shall press save button
- It says Organization Free Accounting Foundation with details saved successfully
- Tap on ok

Point to master menu

- Now we are on the master menu of ABT
- To logout press escape and select Yes
|
Point to welcome page

- We will be directed back to the welcome page of ABT
- Press Select existing organization button
- We will see the created organization in the Organization name field.
