Cursor on the Sourceforge website. | The page is directed to the Files section in the Sourceforge website. |
Scroll down. Click on the Scribus appimage' file. | Scroll down and click on the Scribus appimage' file.

Select Save file option and click on Ok. | The download starts in a short while.
If a save dialogue box opens, Select the Save file option. Click on Ok to download the file. |
Press Ctrl+Alt+T . | Allow the file download to complete and open a terminal.

They can be used to resize and move the text box. |
Click, hold and move to resize the box. | Place the cursor on a handle (or node) and see a two-direction arrow.

Click, hold and drag it to the canvas. |
Place the cursor on the space on the ruler on the top.
Click, hold and drag it to the canvas to add a guide. |
Add vertical guide.
Click on the left side ruler, hold and drag the guide to the canvas. |
Similarly, vertical guides can be added from the ruler on the left side.
Click on the left side ruler, hold and drag the guide to the canvas. |
Click on View, Grids and Guides, Show Grid. | Grids can be added through View, Grids and Guides and Show Grid in the menu. |
Press Ctrl+ scroll wheel to adjust zoom level. | To adjust the zoom level, press the control key and use the mouse scroll wheel. |
Click on View and show the zoom options. | You may also use the options under the View menu. |
Cursor next to adjust zoom at the bottom menu. | The option is also present in the menu bar at the bottom. |
Click on File, Save. | Choose File, Save to save the work.
The default extension for the document is sla. |
