00:00 Welcome to the Spoken Tutorial on Organizing Bookmarks and Printing in Mozilla Firefox.
00:07 In this tutorial, we will learn about Bookmarks.
00:11 We will also learn how to: Organize Bookmarks, set up the Firefox page, Preview and Print it.
00:18 Here we are using Firefox 7.0 on Ubuntu 10.04.
00:26 Let us open the Firefox browser.
00:29 By default, the yahoo home page opens.
00:32 Bookmarks help you navigate to pages that you use often.
00:37 We had learnt a little bit about Bookmarks in an earlier tutorial.
00:42 We had also added a bookmark for gmail there.
00:46 Let’s click on this to open the gmail home page.
00:50 You are directed to the gmail home page.
00:53 Did you notice the yellow star on the right of the gmail address, in the Address bar?
00:59 This indicates that this site has been bookmarked.
01:03 You can also use the star to change the name of a bookmark and store it in a different folder.
01:09 Let’s change the name of gmail to mygmailpage and store it in a new folder named MyNewBookmarks.
01:18 In the Address bar, click on the yellow star.
01:22 The Edit This Bookmark dialog box appears.
01:25 In the Name field, enter mygmailpage.
01:29 Click on the Folder drop-down and select Choose.
01:34 Select Bookmarks menu and click on New folder.
01:39 A New Folder is created.
01:41 Rename this folder MyBookmarks.
01:45 In Tags, type: email.
01:49 Tags help us categorize bookmarks.
01:52 You can associate a number of tags with a bookmark.

03:44 Of course, you’ve already noticed the Remove bookmark button in the Edit This Bookmark dialog box.

04:23 You can access bookmarks in many ways.
04:26 The easiest way to access a site that you bookmarked is to type the name in the Address bar.
04:33 Click on the Address bar, select the address displayed and delete it.
04:39 Now, in the Address bar, type the letter G.
04:43 Notice that a list of the websites that begin with 'G' are displayed.
04:49 These are also the sites that you've bookmarked, tagged, and visited.
04:55 You can also view and arrange your bookmarks in the Library window.
05:00 From the Menu bar, click on Bookmarks and select Show All Bookmarks.

05:09 By default, all the bookmarks that you created are saved in the Unsorted Bookmarks folder.

05:24 Let’s say, we want to add the Yahoo India bookmark to the Bookmarks menu.
05:29 First, let’s move the Library window to the centre of the screen.
05:34 Now, we can view the Menu bar and the options clearly.
05:39 From the Unsorted Bookmarks folder, select the Yahoo bookmark.
05:43 Press the left mouse button and drag the bookmark to the Bookmarks menu.
05:49 Ensure that the cursor is over the Bookmarks menu.
05:53 The Bookmark menu expands.
05:56 Place the mouse pointer on the menu and release the 'left mouse button'.

06:04 The Yahoo bookmark now appears on the Bookmark menu.
06:08 To open a bookmark directly from the Library window, simply double-click on it.

06:26 From Menu bar, click View, select Sidebar and then click on Bookmarks.

07:30 Changes you make in the Bookmarks Sidebar are also reflected in the Bookmarks menu.
