00:17 I am using Ubuntu 10.04 with gnome environment desktop to explain this tutorial.
00:24 You need to have the administrative rights to use Synaptic package manager.
00:29 The Internet connection should be working fine.So first let us open Synaptic Package Manager
00:36 For that please go to System->Administration and then click on Synaptic Package manager.
00:47 Here, an authentication dialog box appears asking for the Password.
00:55 Let us type the password and press enter.
