00:37 વેરીએબનો ઉપયોગ ટેક્સ્ટ સ્ટ્રીંગસ,નંબર અથવા અરેની વેલ્યુ સંગ્રહિત કરવા માટે થાય છે.
00:44 એકવાર વેરીએબલને ડીકલેર કર્યા પછી થી સ્ક્રીપ્ટમાં તેનો ઉપયોગ વારમ વાર કરી શકાય છે.
00:50 સ્કેલર એકજ વેલ્યુ રજૂ કરે છે અને તેને scalars મા સંગ્રહિત કરવાય છે.

01:09 પર્લમા વેરીએબલના નામ ના અનેક ફોરમેટ છે. વેરીએબલની શરુઆત અક્ષર અથવા અન્ડરસ્કૉર થી શરુ થાય છે.
01:18 અને તેમાં અક્ષરો,આંકડા, અન્ડરસ્કૉરો અથવા તો આ ત્રણેના મિશ્રણ હોય શકે છે.
01:24 કેપિટલ અક્ષરમાં ડીકલેર કરેલા વેરીએબલોનો પર્લમા વિશિષ્ટ અર્થ હોય છે.
01:30 તો કેપિટલ અક્ષરોને વેરીએબલ ડીકલેર કરતી વખતે ટાળો.
01:34 હવે ટર્મિનલ ખોલો અને ટાઈપ કરો gedit variables dot pl ampersand
01:44 The ampersand થી આપણે ટર્મિનલ પર કમાંડ પ્રોમ્પ્ટ ને અનલોક કરીએ છીએ .હવે Enter દબાઓ.
01:50 આ gedit ટેક્સ્ટ એડિટરમા variables.પલ ખોલશે.
01:56 dot pl એ પર્લમા મૂળભૂત એક્સ્ટેંશન છે.
02:01 ફાઈલ માં આપલે ટાઈપ કરો; dollar priority semicolon અને Enter દબાઓ.

02:13 ઉપયોગ કર્યા પહેલા વેરીએબલ ડીકલેર કરવાની જરૂર નથી.
02:18 તમે તેને પોતાના કોડ માં વાપરી શકો છો.
02:21 હવે priority વેરીએબલ ને ન્યુંમેરીક્લ વેરીએબલ સોપીશું.
02:25 આ કરવા અંતે ટાઈપ કરો dollar priority space equal to space one semicolon
02:32 અને Enter દબાઓ.
02:34 આગળ ટાઈપ કરો.

02:53 હવે કોઈ પણ જગ્યાએ variables.pl ફાઈલ સેવ કરો.
03:02 મારા કિસ્સા મા, હું home/amol ડિરેક્ટરીમા સેવ કરીશ.હવે હું ફાઈલ સેવ કરીશ.
03:10 હમણાં જે આપણે variables.pl ફાઈલ બનાવી છે તેની પરમીશન બદલીએ.

03:27 આ ફાઈલને રીડ,રાઈટ,અને એક્ઝીક્યુટ કરવાની પરવાનગી આપે છે.

03:42 Hyphen c સ્વીચ માટે પર્લ ક્મ્પ્લાઇલ થાય છે. સિન્ટેક્સ એરર માટે તપાસે છે.

03:51 આ આપણને કહે છે કે આપની સ્ક્રીપ્ટમા કોઈ પણ એરર નથી.

04:28 નોંધ લો, કે અસાઇનમેન્ટને જમણી બાજુથી ડાબીએ મૂલ્યાંકન કરવામાં આવે છે.
04:34 સ્કેલર કોઈ પણ પ્રકારના ડેટાને સંચિત કરી શકે છે.સ્ટ્રીંગ અથવા નંબર.
04:38 આ ફાઈલ સેવ કરો અને ફરીથી સ્ક્રીપ્ટ કમ્પાઈલ કરવા માટે ટાઈપ કરો.

06:30 ચાલો જોઈએ આ આપણે કેવી રીતે પર્લ વાપરીને પ્રાપ્ત કરીશું.
06:34 ટેક્સ્ટ એડિટર પર જાઓ.
06:36 અને હવે આ બંને વેરીએબલને 10 વેલ્યુ સોપોવા માટે ટાઈપ કરો.
