Transfer from Non-STEMI D to AB Hospital.

Hello and welcome to this tutorial on transfer of patient from Non-STEMI D Hospital to AB Hospital.
Show Learning Objectives Slide In this tutorial, we will learn to -
  • Enter data of a new patient on the STEMI App in an A/B Hospital
  • when the patient is transferred from a Non-STEMI D Hospital.


Switch to STEMI device interface We are in the STEMI Homepage.
Blue box on stemiAuser Notice here.


It says stemiAuser - that means the A/B Hospital staff is making these entries.

Select New Patient Select New Patient tab.
Let’s assume a patient and enter the following data.
Type the following details


Patient Name: Venugopal

Age:48

Gender: Male

Phone : 9988776655

Address: X villa, X road, Coimbatore – 000 000, Tamil Nadu

Under Basic Details, let us enter the patient's
  • Name:
  • Age:
  • Gender:
  • Phone:
  • and Address:
select the Payment details >> State BPL Insurance Next, we have to select the Payment details from the options provided in the drop-down menu.
Enter the Symptom Onset Date & Time. After this, we have to enter the Symptom Onset Date & Time.
Enter the D Hospital Arrival Date & Time. Followed by A/B Hospital Arrival Date & Time.
Admission >> choose Non-STEMI. In Admission, we will choose Non-STEMI.

This is because the patient is transferred from a Non STEMI Hospital.

We need to enter all the details in this case.

No data is transferred from Non STEMI Hospital to the STEMI Hospital.

This is because Non STEMI Hospitals are outside the STEMI programme.

The data flow only takes place between the hospitals linked within the STEMI programme.

Enter the Hospital Name and Address. Immediately, we are prompted to enter the Hospital Name and Address.

Let's enter these details.

Enter the Non-STEMI Hospital Arrival Date & Time. Next, we have to enter the Non-STEMI Hospital Arrival Date & Time.
Enter Manual ECG Taken & and STEMI Confirmed Under STEMI Details, fill in the details for Manual ECG Taken and STEMI Confirmed.
Post Thrombolysis details Now, we have to fill the Post Thrombolysis details.

The Thrombolytic agent, Dosage, Start date and time, End date and time.

Successful Lysis Yes/No. Now, we have Successful Lysis Yes/No.

Choose either one.

Transportation Details >> choose Private Lastly on this page, we have the Transport Details.


Here, we will choose Private from the drop-down menu provided.

Select the Save & Continue button at the bottom of the page. Then select the Save & Continue button at the bottom of the page.
On Fibrinolytic Checklist page The App now takes us to the next page, that is Fibrinolytic Checklist.
On Fibrinolytic Checklist page, put text on screen. Under Fibrinolytic Checklist, there are 12 items, if the patient is Male.


There would be 13 items displayed, if the patient was Female.

Check all of the following as NO I’ll will be checking all the 12 points as “No” for now.
Select the Save & Continue button at the bottom of the page. Now select the Save & Continue button to save the current page.
Blue box on Cardiac History The App moves us to Cardiac History page.
Here we have to enter the relevant details related to the patient's history.
I’ll mark these as No.
Blue box on Diagnosis Then under Diagnosis, enter the details for that particular patient.
Chest Discomfort: options Pain, Pressure, Aches; Aches selected

Location of Pain: options Retrosternal, Jaw, L arm, R arm, Back; L arm selected

Pain Severity ( a mandatory field) – type from 1 -10 : 8

Chest Discomfort: I’ll select Pain

Location of Pain: I’ll select Retrosternal

Pain Severity: I’ll choose 8

Palpitation: Yes

Diaphoresis: Yes

Shortness of breath: Yes

Nausea/ Vomiting: Yes

Dizziness: Yes

After this, I'll select YES for some of the remaining items.
Blue box on Clinical Examination Then under Clinical Examination, enter the details for that particular patient.
Select Save and Continue Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom.
On Co-Morbid Conditions page We are moved to the next page which is Co-Morbid Conditions.
Here we will be prompted to enter the medicines that the patient is on, as per his medical condition.


Pls make the relevant entries for that patient.

Check the following

Under Co – Morbid Conditions

Diabetes Mellitus: Yes

Hypertension: Yes

Dyslipidemia: Yes

I’ll check a few as ‘Yes’ and also give the relevant details as prompted by the App.
Select Save and Continue Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom.
Blue box on Contact Details We are moved to the Contact Details page.
Blue box on Name, Relation Type, Address, City and Mobile no. Here, we have to enter the Name, Relation Type, Address, City and Mobile no. of the patient's relative.
Blue box on Occupation Then enter the Occupation.
Blue box on Aadhar Card No.

Blue box on Upload Aadhar card.

Next is the ID proof section - Aadhar Card No. and the upload of the soft-copy.
Select Save and Continue Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom.
Blue box on Thrombolysis The App will now move us to the next tab, which is Thrombolysis.
Blue box on Medications prior to Thrombolysis Here we have to specify some details in the Medications prior to Thrombolysis page.
Blue box on Medicines A list of medications is displayed on this page.


Enter the details of the medication administered to the patient along with date and time.

Mark all as No I’ll mark all as No for now.
Select Save and Continue Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom.
The App now takes us to the next page i.e. PCI.
Here we have Drugs before PCI.
Make entries in PCI Enter the details of the drugs administered to the patient before PCI, with Date and Time details.

The above mentioned doses and selection of medications, are meant for demo purposes only.


Administer drugs as per the patient’s condition and treatment modalities.

Select Save and Continue Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom.
On PCI page The next tab is PCI.
Remove Blue Box for Cath Lab Activation and Cath Lab Arrival


show details to be entered either by a cardiologist or Lab Technician to be shown in a blue box

The details in this page have to be entered either by a cardiologist or a Cath Lab Technician only.


Under Cath Lab details we have

  • Cath Lab Activation and
  • Cath Lab Arrival
Blue box on Vascular access

Blue box on Catheter access.

Next is Vascular access followed by Catheter access.
Blue box on CART, Start & End Date and Time Then fill the CART details such as
  • Start Date and Time
  • End Date and Time


Blue box on Culprit Vessel After this, we have to specify any one Culprit Vessel from the options provided.
Entry of details Then enter all the details relevant to that Culprit Vessel.
Blue box on Management Now, make the entries under Management for that patient.
Blue box on Intervention Lastly on this page, we have Intervention.
Select Intervention When the option Intervention is selected, we get some more details below.
Entry of details Fill out the ones that are relevant for that particular patient.
Select Save and Continue Then select the Save and Continue button at the bottom.
Blue box on Medications in Cath Lab We are in the Medications in Cath Lab tab.
Entry for medications Enter the details of the medications administered to the patient in the Cath Lab.
I will enter the details for 2b3a Inhibitors.
Entry for Unfractionated Heparin Unfractionated Heparin, Dosage, Date and Time.

Administer drugs as per the patient’s condition and treatment modalities.

Select Save and Continue Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom.
Blue box on Discharge Summary >> Death We will skip the In-Hospital Summary page.

And move on to Discharge Summary.

Select No. Here we have the tab Death, which I will select as No.
Select Save and Continue Then select the Save and Continue button at the bottom.
Blue box on Discharge Medications. Next comes Discharge Medications.
There are some options displayed on this page.

Once again, enter the relevant ones advised for that patient at the time of discharge.

Select Save and Continue Select the Save and Continue button at the bottom.
Blue box on Discharge/Transfer Now we are in the Discharge or Transfer page.
Blue box on Discharge from the A/B Hospital Here, we need to enter the details related to the discharge from the A/B Hospital.
Since A/B Hospital is the Hub Hospital, the discharge option from the Hospital is always Home.
Select Home. So, let's select Home here.
Transport Vehicle >> Private. Then in Transport Vehicle, choose Private.
Select Finish. Lastly, select the Finish button.
This completes the data entry in the A/B Hospital.
