Slide 1 Hello everyone.

Welcome to this tutorial on Installation of LibreOffice Suite.

Slide 2 In this tutorial, we will learn to install LibreOffice Suite on Windows OS.
Slide 3 To record this tutorial I'm using
  • Windows 7
  • Firefox web browser.

You can use any web browser of your choice.

Slide 3 continues Let us begin with the installation of LibreOffice Suite.
Go to Firefox web browser First, I will open Firefox web browser.
Type: www.LibreOffice.org/download >> press Enter In the address bar, type www.LibreOffice.org/download and press Enter.
Download page We are immediately redirected to the download page.
Point to the Download button Here you can see the Download button to download LibreOffice Suite.
Point to the version and OS By default, the latest version for our OS is displayed here.
In my case I’m recording on Windows OS.


So it shows the latest version of LibreOffice for Windows.

Click on change >> click on Download But we can download this software as suitable for our OS version.


How can we change the OS  or LibreOffice version?


Just click on the link “change”, located just above the Download button.

Another page We are redirected to another page.


Here we can see the download option for different OS select as per your need.

Point to the various options Here, we can also choose the version of LibreOffice Suite that we want to install.
Click on Windows I will choose Windows.
Back on original download page On doing this, we are once again redirected to the download page.
Point to the version and OS Note: the default version of LibreOffice and OS is now as per our selection.
Click on Download button Let us click on the Download button.
Save As dialog box opens On doing so, a Save As dialog box opens.
Click on Save Click on the Save button and the download will start.


This may take some time, depending upon the internet speed.

Go to Download folder and click on the setup file When the downloading is complete, go to the Downloads folder.


Now, double click on the LibreOffice setup file.

A dialog Box will open asking

Do you want to run this file?


Click on the RUN button.

Installation wizard opens. Now the installation wizard will open.


Click on NEXT button whenever prompted.

Select Typical or Custom Installation Now it will ask whether you want a Typical or Custom Installation.

By default Typical will be selected.


Click on NEXT.

Click on install Then click on Install button.


The installation will take some time.

Click on finish Once the installation is complete, click on Finish.
Start menu → All programs → LibreOffice 4.4. Let us now check whether LibreOffice is properly installed or not.
Click on Start >> All programs >> LibreOffice 4.4 Go to Start menu → All programs LibreOffice 4.4
Point to the various components You'll see various LibreOffice Suite components like Writer, Calc, Base, Impress, Math and Draw.
This indicates that LibreOffice Suite is successfully installed on your Windows system.
