k3b supports all file formats to burn -  audio, video or data&lt;br /&gt;

Ubuntu Linux version 12.04&lt;br /&gt;
Ensure that a CD is inserted into the drive.&lt;br /&gt;
||Here, we are using k3b 2.0.2 on Ubuntu Linux 12.04.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You need to ensure that you have inserted a CD/DVD into the drive for this tutorial.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

|Switch to the Ubuntu Desktop and point to the folder Myk3bCD.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Open this folder &lt;br /&gt;
||I have also added an audio file to my folder Myk3bCD.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We had created and saved this folder on the Ubuntu Desktop earlier.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

|Point to the file Learningk3b &lt;br /&gt;
||I have added an audio file Learningk3b to this folder.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You can use any audio file of your choice.&lt;br /&gt;

|First, click Dash Home, which is the round button, on the top left corner of your computer desktop.&lt;br /&gt;

|Select the Home folder on the top left panel.&lt;br /&gt;
Point to the files and folders on the top right panel.&lt;br /&gt;

Now, we can see the files and folders in the Home folder.&lt;br /&gt;

|Next click on Desktop.&lt;br /&gt;

||So I will right-click on Myk3bCD folder. &lt;br /&gt;

|Select on Add to Project option.&lt;br /&gt;
||And select Add to Project option.&lt;br /&gt;

|Point to the file In the bottom panel.&lt;br /&gt;
||Now you can see the selected folder in the bottom panel.&lt;br /&gt;

||Next, let us create a folder on the CD and move the Myk3bCD  folder to it.&lt;br /&gt;

|Drag and drop the file Writer1 to FolderOne.&lt;br /&gt;

|Click on Writer1 in the bottom left pane.&lt;br /&gt;

||To check if the file Writer1 has been copied, let us click on FolderOne.&lt;br /&gt;

||Next, let’s change the settings in this Data Project – k3b window.&lt;br /&gt;

|Select Writing tab &amp;gt;&amp;gt; under Writing Mode &amp;gt;&amp;gt; select Auto .&lt;br /&gt;
||Select Writing tab and here, under Writing Mode we will select Auto.&lt;br /&gt;
Notice, that Auto is the default setting.&lt;br /&gt;

|Select File system tab.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Point to Window+Linux under File System.&lt;br /&gt;
||Now, let us select Filesystem tab.&lt;br /&gt;

It is set as Linux/Unix+Windows by default. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So, there is no need to make any changes here.&lt;br /&gt;

Select Multisession mode.&lt;br /&gt;

|Select Burn.&lt;br /&gt;
||Now, select Burn to burn the data to the CD.&lt;br /&gt;

||As before, go to New Project and select New Audio CD Project. &lt;br /&gt;

|Browse to the Myk3bCD folder on the top left pane.&lt;br /&gt;

Here, we shall use the default tab settings.&lt;br /&gt;

||However, you can make changes in the tabs, as per your requirements.&lt;br /&gt;
