00:00	Welcome to the Spoken Tutorial on Organizing Bookmarks and Printing in Mozilla Firefox.
00:07	In this tutorial, we will learn about Bookmarks.
00:11	We will also learn, how to: Organize Bookmarks, Setup up the Firefox Page, Preview and Print it.
00:18	Here we are using Firefox 7.0 on Ubuntu 10.04.
00:26	Let us open the Firefox browser.
00:29	By default the yahoo home page opens.
00:32	Bookmarks help you navigate to pages that you use often.
00:37	We had learnt a little bit about Bookmarks in an earlier tutorial.
00:42	We had also added a bookmark for gmail there.
00:46	Let’s click on this to open the gmail home page.
00:50	You are directed to the gmail home page.
00:53	Did you notice the yellow star on the right of the gmail address in the Address bar?
00:59	This indicates that this site has been bookmarked.
01:03	You can also use the star to change the name of a bookmark and store it in a different folder.
01:09	Let’s change the name of gmail to mygmailpage and store it in a new folder named MyNewBookmarks.
01:18	In the Address bar, click on the yellow star.
01:22	The Edit This Bookmark dialog box appears.
01:25	In the Name field, enter mygmailpage.
01:29	Click on the Folder drop-down and select Choose.
01:34	* Select Bookmarks menu and click on New Folder.
01:39	* A New Folder is created.
01:41	* Rename this folder MyBookmarks.
01:45	In Tags type email.
01:49	* Tags help us categorize bookmarks.
01:52	* You can associate a number of tags with a bookmark.
01:55	* For example, when you bookmark a shopping site,
01:58	* You might tag it with the words gifts, books or toys.
02:03	Click Done.
02:06	* Alternately, you can also press the CTRL and D keys
02:09	* To bookmark the page.
02:12	From the Menu bar, click on Bookmarks.
02:16	The MyBookMarks folder is displayed in the Bookmarks menu.
02:20	Place the cursor on the folder.
02:23	The mygmailpage bookmark is saved there.
02:27	Now, in the Address bar, type the tag, email.
02:31	Notice that the site mygmailpage is displayed as the first option on the list.
02:38	So, we have renamed the bookmark, saved it in another folder and located it using a tag!
02:45	Now, let’s bookmark the www dot google dot com website. <Pause>
02:53	* In the address bar select the address and delete it.
02:56	* Now type www dot google dot com
03:01	* Press Enter.
03:03	* Now, from the right corner of the Address bar, click on the star.
03:08	The google website is bookmarked.
03:12	* In the same manner, let’s bookmark four more sites Spoken Tutorial, Yahoo,Firefox Add-ons andUbuntu .
03:36	Notice that we have not saved these bookmarks to a folder.
03:40	And how do we delete a bookmark we created?
03:44	Of course, you’ve already noticed the Remove bookmark button in the Edit This Bookmark dialog box.
03:50	Let’s delete the www.google.com bookmark.
03:55	In the Address bar, type www.google.com. Click on the yellow star.
04:03	From the Edit This Bookmark dialog box, click the Remove Bookmark button.
04:09	* From Menu bar, click on Bookmarks and MyBookmarks.
04:14	* The google bookmark is no longer visible in the Bookmark menu.
04:19	How can you access the bookmarks you create?
04:23	You can access bookmarks in many ways.
04:26	The easiest way, to access a site that you bookmarked, is to type the name in the Address bar.
04:33	Click on the Address bar, select the address displayed and delete it.
04:39	Now, in the Address bar, type the letter G.
04:43	* Notice that a list of the websites that begin with G are displayed.
04:49	* These are also the sites that you've bookmarked, tagged, and visited.
04:55	You can also view and arrange your bookmarks in the Library window.
05:00	From Menu bar, click on Bookmarks and select Show All Bookmarks.
05:06	The Library window opens.
05:09	By default all the bookmarks that you created are saved in the Unsorted Bookmarks folder.
05:16	Notice that the Yahoo, Spoken Tutorial, Ubuntu and FireFox Add-ons bookmarks are listed here.
05:24	Let’s say we want to add the Yahoo India bookmark to the Bookmarks menu.
05:29	* First, let’s move the Library window to the centre of the screen.
05:34	* Now, we can view the Menu bar and the options clearly.
05:39	From the Unsorted Bookmarks folder select the Yahoo bookmark.
05:43	* Press the left mouse button, and drag the bookmark to the Bookmarks menu.
05:49	* Ensure that the cursor is over the Bookmarks menu.
05:53	The Bookmark menu expands.
05:56	Place the mouse pointer on the menu and release the left mouse button.
06:01	Now click on the Bookmark menu.
06:04	The Yahoo bookmark now appears on the Bookmark menu.
06:08	To open a bookmark directly from the Library window, simply double-click on it.
06:15	Now, let’s close the Library window.
06:19	Firefox also allows you to sort bookmarks.
06:23	Let’s Sort bookmarks by Names.
06:26	From Menu bar, click View, select Sidebar, and then click on Bookmarks.
06:32	The Bookmarks sidebar opens in the left panel.
06:37	Let’s bookmark Google.com again. <Pause>
06:42	From the Bookmarks sidebar, select the Unsorted Bookmarks folder and right-click on it.
06:48	Select Sort By Name.
06:51	The bookmarks are sorted by name.
06:54	You can also rearrange the bookmarks manually.
06:57	From the Bookmarks Sidebar, click on and open the Bookmarks Menu folder.
07:03	Next, click on and open the Unsorted Bookmarks folder.
07:08	Move the mouse over the Spoken Tutorial bookmark.
07:12	Now, press the left mouse button and drag the bookmark up to Ubuntu and Free Software folder in the Bookmarks Sidebar.
07:22	Release the mouse button.
07:25	The bookmark is moved to the Ubuntu and Free Software folder.
07:30	Changes you make in the Bookmarks Sidebar are also reflected in the Bookmarks menu.
07:35	You can also sort bookmarks automatically.
07:39	From the Menu bar, click Bookmarks and select Show all bookmarks.
07:45	In the Library window that appears, from the left panel, select Unsorted bookmarks.
07:51	Now, click on Views, Sort and Sort by Added.
07:57	The address are sorted by the order in which they were added as bookmarks. Click Close.
08:04	Finally, let’s learn how to print this web page.
08:08	First let’s set up this web page for printing.
08:12	From the Firefox menu bar, click File and select Page Setup.
08:17	The Page Setup dialog box appears.
08:21	Select the Paper Size as A4.
08:24	Choose Orientation as Portrait.
08:28	Click Apply.
08:30	To check how the settings have been applied, click File and select Print Preview.
08:36	You can see the page exactly as it would look when it is printed.
08:40	Click Close to exit.
08:42	From the Firefox menu bar, click File and select Print.
08:47	The Print dialog box appears on the screen.
08:50	Here we select the Generic Printer option in General Tab.
08:55	* Next, in the Range field, select All Pages.
09:01	* In Copies, we will select 1.
09:04	Click the Options tab and select Ignore Scaling and Shrink To Fit Page Width.
09:10	Click Print.
09:12	If the printer is configured correctly, the printer should start printing now.
