1. Status of Hardware - What's here?

hawkboards in hand = 10+1
KitsNSpares ~ 30% components (tranceiver + buffer) in hand
Farnell ~ 50% available (oscillators and such)
 - Abhishek will circulate spreadsheet of what's in hand 


2. Hardware - What's needed?

OMAP-L138. Rajesh K to procure 5 samples from TI
RAM-ROM IC's Abhishek has requested quote from TI



3. Update on Board Re-Design
----------------------------

bluetooth seems to be most viable (cost/power) for device-to-device comm
wifi expensive - difficult to integrate (poor OEM support)
2.2 GHz ZiB - protocol used by wireless mouse etc. Very low power+cost - but low data rate
Maybe OK device-to-device comm. software driver code needed from scratch.


4. Plans for software optimization/benchmarking competition
